Experience the trip of a lifetime aboard the fast and luxurious Tasman Venture.  Travel to the most northerly point of Fraser Island - Sandy Cape.  Use our amphibious vessel 'sealegs' to keep your feet dry as we transfer you from Tasman Venture to the island.  Take in the remoteness as you walk the 1.2km track to the Sandy Cape lighthouse, the oldest man made structure on the island.

Back on board, you can relax while the crew organise your PRAWN and BBQ lunch.  We travel slowly back down the western side of the island where it is usual to spot an array of marine life.  As we round the point you will be amazed at the colour of the water at Wathumba Creek.  This is where you can snorkel with the turtles, kayak, take on a spot of beach fishing, swim or simply relax in the calm and protected waters.  We spend around 2 hours at this stop.

Afternoon tea is served on the return journey as we spot the resident dolphins playing in platypus bay.

Tour departs daily from the Great Sandy Straits Marina 27 November to March.
