The New Spirit of Hervey Bay - Whale Watching
From late July to early November the mighty humpback whale reaches the sanctuary of Hervey Bay for some well earned rest, relaxation and fun interaction with whale watchers. After many months of travelling up the east coast of Australia the humpback whales reach their destination to give birth to their calves, mate, indulge in some playful antics and generally take a break from travelling before their long journey back home to the Antarctic.
