Blue Dolphin Marine Tours - Whale Watching on Hervey Bay
Join Hervey Bay's sailing whale watch vessel. We are also the smallest in the fleet at just 10.5m in length - which is extremely stable and gentle. The vessel has wide walk around decks, ample room to move with shaded seating areas. Most of the whales we see are 10 to 13 metres in length and 30 tonnes or more, that over 5 times our weight. So when you see a whale from Blue Dolphin you really see a whale!
With a small number of passengers an unforgettable and intimate experience awaits you. Only 20 people maximum.
Your skipper Peter has 20 years experience with marine mammals. 14 years with Seaworld as a marine mammal trainer. During those years was involved with saving many stranded marine mammals. so your day can be as informative as you like as Peter welcomes your questions and invites you to take the wheel.
The cruise is a full day with morning and afternoon tea and lunch provided. The vessel is also licensed. Multi lingual crew - Courtesy bus transfers from your Hervey Bay accommodation.
Departs the marina at 7.30am and returns approx 15.30 hours.
